Samuelz® Terms for booking and service

This page explains the terms for the Samuelz® chauffeur service in plain language: booking, payment, changes, cancellation, and responsibility.

Short version: a booking becomes binding only with written confirmation. Pricing, minimum duration, changes, and cancellations are set out below.

Who we are

Samuelz® is a chauffeur service for days that need calm, precise, and reliable coordination.

We organise executive and guest transportation in Munich city and at Munich Airport (MUC) with professional chauffeurs and Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

When these terms apply

These Terms and Conditions apply to enquiries, bookings, and services for the Samuelz® chauffeur service.

Anyone who books or uses a Samuelz® chauffeur service agrees to the version of these terms published at the time of booking.

What Samuelz® provides

Private ground transportation for executives, assistants, families, and important guests.

A Mercedes-Benz vehicle with a professional chauffeur.

A service built for quiet, discreet, and reliable movement on important days and sensitive schedules.

Our core service area is Munich city and Munich Airport (MUC).

We are not a taxi, a shared shuttle, or a low-cost transfer service.

Vehicles and group size

The standard vehicle is a Mercedes-Benz van (V-Class or similar) for up to 6 passengers.

For groups above 6 passengers, we plan two or more vehicles in parallel.

All vehicles are non-smoking and suitable for business and VIP guests.

Pricing and service area

The standard rate is €249 per vehicle hour.

The minimum booking is 3 hours per vehicle.

Time is billed from the booked start time until the vehicle is released at the final stop, always in full hours.

This rate covers Munich city and Munich Airport (MUC).

For out-of-area trips or special requests such as long-distance travel, overnight stays, or extra vehicles, we provide a separate quote in advance.

All prices are in EUR. VAT is added where legally required.

What is included and what may be charged extra

6.1 Included in the rate

Vehicle and professional chauffeur.

Fuel.

Standard parking and toll costs within Munich and at MUC.

Normal waiting time within the booked hours.

6.2 Additional costs if they apply

Additional hours beyond the confirmed estimate.

Extra stops, material itinerary changes, or additional vehicles requested by the client.

Exceptional costs such as special parking fees, extra tolls, road closures, or trips outside the service area; where possible, we discuss these with you in advance.

If the plan changes materially on the day of service, extra hours may be charged at the same hourly rate.

Enquiry, availability, and written confirmation

7.1 What we need for a request

A booking request usually only needs a short message with the date, time, pickup point, destination, passenger names, and contact or billing details.

7.2 When the booking becomes binding

Once availability has been confirmed, you will receive written confirmation showing time, locations, vehicles, estimated hours, price, and the payment and cancellation rules.

Only that written confirmation makes the booking binding.

Payment

8.1 Standard process

A credit card on file is generally required to secure the booking.

The card is charged automatically: for single-day services 24 hours before the first pickup, and for multi-day programs or events 7 days before the first service.

8.2 Larger amounts and card limits

For larger amounts, for example above €5,000, credit card limits can become relevant. In those cases we can arrange split payments or bank transfer instead of card.

A booking counts as secured once the payment has been successfully charged or transferred and received.

8.3 Existing corporate clients

By prior agreement, existing corporate clients may pay by invoice under standard payment terms.

Cancellation

9.1 Single-day services

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the first pickup time.

At 24 hours or less, 100% of the booked service is charged.

9.2 Multi-day programs or events

Free cancellation up to 7 days before the first service.

At less than 7 days, 100% of the total program is charged.

The reason is simple: vehicles and chauffeurs are reserved exclusively for you and kept unavailable for other work during that period.

Changes, delays, and no-shows

Plans can change, especially around flights, meetings, and events.

We handle that pragmatically and aim to confirm any extra cost with you as early as possible.

10.1 Small changes

Small time shifts on the same day or minor routing changes will be accommodated where possible. Depending on scope, extra hours may be billed.

10.2 Flight delays

Where possible, we monitor flight information and adjust the pickup within reasonable limits. Significant delays may create chargeable waiting time.

10.3 No-show without notice

If a passenger does not appear at the agreed place and we cannot reach the contact person, we wait a reasonable amount of time, for example up to 60 minutes at the airport and 15 minutes in the city.

If there is still no contact, the service is treated as completed and the booking is charged in full.

Use of selected partners

To keep service reliable, Samuelz® may perform transportation with its own vehicles and chauffeurs or through carefully selected partner companies.

Even in those cases, Samuelz® remains your contractual partner and your central point of coordination.

Safety, conduct, and luggage

All passengers must use seat belts where provided.

Smoking and illegal substances are not permitted in the vehicle.

Luggage must be stored safely. If you have unusual or oversized items, please tell us in advance so we can confirm the right vehicle setup.

If a passenger causes damage or unusual cleaning effort, the actual cost of repair or cleaning may be charged.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Samuelz® is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damage.

In all other cases, our liability is limited to the service fee paid, except where German law provides otherwise in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Indemnity for misuse

Anyone who misuses our service or causes damage to vehicles or third parties through their own conduct or accompanying passengers shall indemnify Samuelz® against resulting claims, damage, and costs.

Privacy

Samuelz® processes personal data only to deliver and improve the service in line with applicable data protection law.

Force majeure

Samuelz® is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events outside our reasonable control. That includes, for example, natural events, strikes, governmental action, pandemics, or severe traffic disruption.

Changes to these terms

Samuelz® may update these Terms and Conditions if processes, services, or legal requirements make that necessary.

The published version applies. Continued use of our services after publication means acceptance of the updated version.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Munich is the place of jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Final provisions

If any individual provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

These terms form the complete agreement between Samuelz® and the client for the booked service.
